| Mandated by O.R.C. 121.37 and the Union County Commissioners, the Council for Union County Families works in partnership with all Union County health, educational and human service agencies to ensure seamless service delivery and accountability for families and children. |

Specifically, the Council for Union County Families:
Develops and implements an annual countywide needs assessment of services which impact on families and children, and strategically develops initiatives
with multiple agency partners to fill service gaps.
Facilitates a comprehensive coordinated and multi-disciplinary system for infants and toddles with developmental disabilities or delays, and their families.
Establishes a mechanism to ensure ongoing input from a broad representation of families who are receiving services within the county systems.
Maintains an accountability system to monitor the county’s progress in achieving results for families and children.
Provides administrative oversight of the Help Me Grow program, The Ohio Children’s Trust Fund, and the InterSystems Collaborative for Youth.
