MISSION
Our mission is to help improve the lives of Ohioans by delivering educational programming for the public good and private benefit and by encouraging its implementation.
SERVICES
A variety of educational programs and services.

Agriculture – Educational services and programs regarding production, crop production, insect control, home gardening, soil testing information, livestock information, energy conservation, marketing, etc.

Family & Consumer Sciences – Information, education and programs about consumer & textile sciences, human development & family science, and human nutrition & food management with emphasis on parenting education, budget counseling, food safety/preservation, and balancing work and family.


4-H Youth Development – Providing education through independent and group study in more than 150 project areas; developing skills and abilities in a variety of areas relating both to project work and individual development; teaching citizenship and leadership skills through activities like club officer positions, 4-H camp, Junior Fair activities and Teen Leadership, etc.

Family Nutrition Program – Educational programs for individuals, families, or groups who want to plan nutritious meals, improve eating habits, practice food safety techniques, and stretch food dollars.

Master Gardener Program – The Master gardener Program provides an in-depth training program for participants, followed by a volunteer program involving participants in community horticulture projects.

4-H Youth Development: must be age 9 – 19
All other programming available to all Union County residents
