Approval of April’s Minutes: Kathy Smith moved and Starr Pierce seconded a motion to accept the minutes of the April and May meetings. The motion passed.

Financial Report: Jim Cesa, treasurer, sent a written report in his absence. The checking account has a balance of $607.07 with $266.23 of that balance belonging to No Wrong Door. The savings has $1,794.86 with $678.10 belonging to the CSA treasury and $1,092.01 belonging to Women’s Health.

Unfinished Business: We will have a presentation about the Benefits Bank at the September 25th regular meeting.

Dick mentioned that this tool may become even more helpful as more needs are identified in the county due to the Medicaid budget tightening. Union County seems to be moving in the right direction to meet the needs of residents.

New Business: Dick asked for approval of the United Way application requesting $600 which is the same as the 2008 request. Kathy Smith moved and Cheryl Hagerty seconded a motion to approve the application. The motion passed.
