| The M.O.M.S. Program is an opportunity for you to develop a friendship with an experienced mom and learn skills to prepare you for the future. |
| SERVICES |
Mentors will provide you with friendship and support as well as coaching on parenting issues and basic life skills. Opportunities will provide prenatal and child care information.
Monthly programs will cover such topics as: nutrition, parenting, child development, community resources. Hands on learning will include: fitness, budgeting, scrap booking, and grocery shopping. |
| ELIGIBILITY |
M.O.M.S. is available to young women who desire a mentoring relationship with an experienced mother and who are a mother-to-be, mother under the age of 25, and a resident to Union County.
Contact with your experienced mom/mentor might include weekly get-togethers or phone calls as well as attendance at monthly programs. |
